A guide to reading order
It was pointed out to me recently that newcomers to this site would be faced with the epilogue to the story right there at the top of the page (since Blogger arranges posts in order from newest to oldest); and that this would be something of a spoiler.
It was a very good point; so I'm putting this warning here. If you are new to this site and this story, DO NOT read the post that immediately follows this one: it is the epilogue, and will ruin the plot for you. Instead, use the archives on the left of the page - or follow the instructions and the link above - to reach Chapter 1; and then read on. Alternatively, just click here.
Thanks.

Wow, Joseph, I have to say, this was my favorite chapter. It just brings tears to my eyes. I have never read anything more stirring than this. It completely tops your story about Frosty.

I've been reading this story for nearly two months off and on. I finally reached the end and I truly felt at a loss over Frost's unfortunate yet immenent demise (not death, he died a while back in the story). I've been playing a game for a long time and I could have never imagined pulling a story like this out of the game. Brilliant, simply brilliant.
